This documentary film explores the work and artistic approach of the artist Marco Bagnoli. Through a variety of testimonials, archival materials, documentation, performances, readings and analyses, the film provides insights into the artist’s relentless exploration. Starting from scientific studies, which he never abandoned, Marco Bagnoli intertwines Western thought with Eastern cultures, philosophy and poetry, creating an original artistic path. The film presents a series of philosophical and theoretical suggestions in line with the artist’s poetics, in both visual and textual forms. The rhythm is marked by the text Domande ipercritiche (written by Bagnoli in 1980), from which questions are posed to the viewer by archetypal figures: the angel, the musician, the friend and the merchant.
