About the exhibition
Sheela Gowda is one of the leading names in contemporary art in India. Her work ranges from drawing, to sculpture, to large-scale installation, and involves the use of materials that often convey cultural values linked to the context they stem from. Remains is Sheela Gowda’s first solo show in Italy and it presents a wide selection of works she has made from 1992 to the present time, including watercolors, prints, and site-specific installations.
