ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
In 2021, thanks to the collaboration with the Associazione Arte Continua, was realized the opportunity to install Antony Gormley’s work in the center of Prato. Against a history of statuary that has traditionally supported and celebrated political and religious power, Gormley‘s project Shy attempts to recognize and catalyze a subjective experience. There is both empathy and humour in this work. The artist wishes to reanimate the potential for art in the collective realm to celebrate daily life.
